Hello Global Girls!
A word about advertising…
When I logged in to the Global Girl™ Online Community this morning, I noticed a flashing advertisement in the right sidebar (and it’s really ugly, too). I just wanted to let you know that I did not put it there. The GG Online Community is hosted on Ning Networks and they seem to have inserted their own ads in this space since I have not upgraded to a paid Ning platform. The only Sponsor Ads added by me (so far) are in the “Sponsor” sidebar. These are companies that I feel bring added value to expat women. If you would like to advertise your own business on Global Girl™–please drop me a note.
A word about Twitter…
I found a really neat Twitter service this morning that I’d like to share with you from TweepML. It allows us to create a Global Girl™ Twitter Group and for other people to be able to follow all Global Girl™ Member Tweets in one shot. By making your tweets available to follow as part of a niche group, it makes your individual tweets even more powerful–especially as the Global Girl™ Community continues to grow.
This is similar to Twitter Lists, in that it is great exposure when your Tweets are added to someone’s List. This differs from Twitter Lists because TweepML allows each individual to add themselves to the group instead of relying on someone to find you, evaluate your worthiness and then add you to their Twitter list.

There are “Follow Us” buttons and links available for you to add to Twitter, Blogs or Websites. I’ll add them to the Global Girl Sites as well.
